LYONS DRUG

Lyons Drug store is now located in the 1928 McCrary Building at 115 Front Street in Lonoke, Arkansas.  Throughout the years, the addition of canopies, metal panels and aluminum storefront has altered the appearance of the exterior facade.  This rehabilitation will remove the canvas awning, metal canopy, and metal panels, clean and restore the brick facade, and restore the tile below the windows.  The transom glass above the display windows will be uncovered and accent lighting will be installed behind the new glazing.  Signage has been designed that revives the historic Lyons sign artwork.
