The project

Kudzu Collective worked with Delta Compass and NOB Architecture + Design to program and envision the adaptive reuse of a long-neglected historic warehouse at the south end of Downtown Greenville. The Great River Road Market will transform the property into a community-centered destination for food, art, entrepreneurship, and environmental sustainability. Plans include space for local growers and vendors, a demonstration and commercial kitchen, business-incubator storefronts, urban gardens, and the Delta Menagerie—an outdoor installation celebrating native Delta species. By bringing light, activity, and community life back to the property, the project will create a vibrant downtown anchor while supporting food access, minority-owned businesses, cultural tourism, and economic opportunity.
